Hiking
Verdings is an ideal starting point for hikers, for short or long hikes on the Verdingser, Latzfonser, Villanderer and Feldthurner alp. For example very impressive is the Latzfonser Kreuz (2300 m), the highest pilgrimage site in Europe, or the Radlsee with the Königanger peak (2439 m). A shorter, but no less beautiful destination is the Stöfflhütte.
A side trip to theBarbian waterfalls should not be missed, where you can find waterfalls up to 85 m high and the Ganderbach that flows into the Eisack near Kollmann. Over a length of 6 km it overcomes 1510 meters of altitude. In autumn, the "chestnut trail" invites you to take long walks.

Sights & Museums
For those interested in cultural history or if the weather is simply not showing its best side, we recommend a visit to the rich South Tyrolean museum landscape or shopping tours to Bolzano. For example, for the Saturday market or to Brixen for the Monday market. A visit to Klausen's old town is highly recommended, as Klausen is the only place in South Tyrol that has been included in the list of the most beautiful old town centers in Italy. Excursions to the castles and ruins in South Tyrol are also particularly impressive.
